Zličínský Dvůr
Prague 5 is located just southwest of the city centre and includes the beautiful west
bank of the Vltava and progresses up the hills (along) to the outer suburbs of the city town.
Renovated classic villas and town houses are located in the areas of Radlice, Nové Butovice
and Barrandov.
Smíchov, adjacent to Malá Strana, Prague 1, has undergone a complete transformation
due to the development of a pulsating business and commercial district featuring award
winning architecture by Jean Nouvel. Residential prices within this area have risen
dramatically mirroring the gentrification and improvement in the quality of the district.
Accessibility to shopping, the city centre, Children’s Island and international schools is
excellent. The hospital for foreigners, “Na Homolce”, is also located in Prague 5.
Barrandov, the Hollywood of Prague, is among the premier residential housing locations
in Prague and has numerous villas and single-family homes with gardens. High on a hill on
the south side of Prague, Barrandov boasts of being the home of the rich and famous.
Prague 5 - The future
The area will see rapid change in the years to come with both commercial, retail and
residential development booming. The reason for this is the availability of land and buildings
for refurbishment. << Back
